JUNE 09 SCHEDULE

No training on Saturday 27th June as FAJAR School Field is closed due to H1N1 alert.

We have rescheduled the training date and venue to SUNDAY 28th June @ FICO Sports Hub.

For the best interest and safety of our children, Coach Harman has decided that it will be the last session until the situation gets the "ALL CLEAR" from the authorities.

For the last training session, Coach Harman has booked a 2 hour slot at FICO Sports Hub. The location is at NO 2 JURONG WEST STREET 25 or you may click here for their website. Fathers, bring along your football gear to play with the boys by 10.30am! Moms, get ready to cheer ok!

Court 3 ~ 9am - 11am ~ U8, U10
U8 & U10 ~ 30 minutes of ball mastery and ball feeling followed by 1 hr of games

Court 4 ~ 9am - 11am ~ Team B
30 minutes of technique and tactical work followed by 1 hr of games

GFA RED ~ CHAMPION

Congratulations to our players who made it to the top.

Capt Adli made sure that he carried the flag proudly by bringing the team through in the semi finals and finals by stopping the penalty kicks. He gave the team a huge confidence with his superb performance between the sticks against all the teams!

Utility player Nazhiim once again showed his strength in defence by cutting almost all attacks.

Against Mundial Soccer Academy, he left the spectators in disbelief with his goal. As he won the ball in his half, he dribbled forward past one opponent before releasing a powerful shot. It went straight to the top left corner leaving everyone in astonishment.

Syahmi, Irfan and Miguel did their positional roles effectively winning 1v1 situations almost every time. Syazwan and Hayshagen who joined later (after qualifying), managed to catch up with their coachs' plans. The former, exudes strong presence with his physique while the latter has feet with super glue, added depth to the coachs' plan.

It was a memorable day for all to remember as our team played with hardwork, tenacity, encouragement and belief in each other. Always learning from the past and never to blame any individual for the teams' outcome.

GFA KL Trip 2009
We will be collecting the KL trip 50% deposit from this Saturday onwards till end of July 09. As this is on a 1st come 1st serve basis, we will not be making any further bookings after July.

The new 2008/2009 season has just started and already we have confirmed plans for 2009! For sure, we will start with some Major Tournaments.

To all players and parents, please take note that we will be taking orders for the away kit (jersey only ~ $25) beginning on the month of May 09. The kit is similar to the current design but in BLUE. Sizes available xxxs, xxs, xs, s,m,L,xL.

GFA & SCHOOL RULES
Hi players and parents, thank you for your support to your childs' footballing needs. Just a reminder of the following regulations for our usage in the school premises -

- No sandals, slippers or coloured hair
- School closes at 2pm sharp
- Confine our footballing activities to the FIELD ONLY (surveillance cameras present)
- Changing of clothes to be in the designated toilet (near the stall holder within CANTEEN area)
- NO playing of football elsewhere, eg basketball, quadrangle, canteen, etc

If you choose to disobey the school rules, you will be stopped by the Security Officers at the main entrance.
